Of the 4 Celebrity cruises we have booked, 3 are in sky suites that include the Retreat, and 1 is in a prime concierge that’s going to Norway and I don’t really care where we are on the ship, just want to do Norway while they are still offering it

For sure we would. We’re edging towards Celebrity anyway, have 4 booked. We haven’t booked any Royal lately (although we have many booked from awhile ago). Their commercials are meant to attract families with kids with their amusement park ships. It’s not that I don’t like kids, just the unruly ones, and it seems too many parents are not keeping tabs on what their children are doing. At least that’s what we’ve noticed anyway. so I would love if they did a true status match.

Worse than that week is NYE. We cruised a couple of times during New Years and it was ok, but this past year on Radiance it was the worst ever. So many unattended kids causing issues all over. At times we couldn’t get down the stairs because large groups of kids would congregate on the stairs! Some preteens were just nasty and loud and rude. I guess parents just felt they would let them do whatever they wanted. So I’ll never cruise that time of year ever again.

Lately it seems that it doesn’t matter when we cruise locally, theres always plenty of kids and it’s been crowded. Maybe summer has more kids, but we don’t know because we don’t cruise at that time of year. We’ve done a couple of cruises during Halloween and it’s really fun on a ship. Last year we were on a TA on Odyssey at Halloween and they had a parade, best costume, and other events. Lots of fun!

Were in the lowly D+ group ( but closer to P ) and there’s no way I the drink 5 drinks a day and let’s not forget the bottles of wine we get too….. 🤪

Decks 17 & 18 are the suite area which requires you to scan your card to get in. Deck 18 is where the bar and pool/hot tub with plenty of seating are located. Deck 17 is where the suite lounge and coastal kitchen are located.

Grand suites and above on Wonder are all on the top two floors of the ship. The only reason we went down was if we felt like walking around, specialty dining or to see the shows. Otherwise we stayed in the suite area. Does this sound the same as NCL?
