Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Can anyone currently on the Muse to/from Alaska know who the head sommelier is? Much appreciated if you know and respond.
  2. Who advised you to cancel? I would argue that you are not cancelling but want to change to Door to Door on this cruise as you don’t require return airfare as you live in Fort Lauderdale. Or as I have done on some cruises that only offer Port to Port is take the air credit and book your own airfare. Hope this works out for you
  3. Lunch is available in Kaiseki, just sushi though, dinner is more extensive. Hot Rocks you need a reservation, Atlantide and Indochine you can walk in. on sea days they are guest lecturers and other activities. You may be able to find out who the lecturer is from Silvesea. Evening show is usually 9:45 or 10:00 aand the night before disembarkation it is around 6:00. Again, you may be able to find out who the cruise director is through Silversea. I was on Silversea in April and masks were not mandatory except the show lounge and on excursions, even then some people did not wear them properly. Masks were recommend except for bars, restaurants and outdoors. Caviar is availble anytime you want it. One tip is make use of your butler, he will make/cancel dinner reservations, you can have a standing order to bring coffee first thing in the morning, set up canapes in your room prior to getting ready for dinner or pre drinks in the bar, ask for fruit bowl in your room, polish shoes, if you like having a drink in your room he can stock your bar fridge with preferences like champagne or wine, also a bottle,or hard liquor if you like also. You will absolutely love cruising with Silversea, from the food, friendly staff and wonderful people you meet on board. Enjoy!
  4. I just booked this cruise, no problem with excursions or dinner reservations.
  5. My understanding is sometime in June
  6. Unfortunately Silversea don’t post ahead of time when you will dock or tender. In most cases you can make an educated guess, i.e. Sorrento, Santorini etc. Having said that, tours are usually the first groups to tender in then anyone wanting to explore on their own. It doesn’t take long to clear the excursions as the tender craft are running constantly. The cruise director will make an announcement when all other guests wishing to tender can board. A schedule is published which you can pick up at Guest Relations. As for returning, you may do so at anytime.
  7. sorry, forgot to mention I was able to book a spa treatment for my April 18th cruise through my travel agent who contacted Silversea
  8. I have attached a price list for the new Otium Spa...some of the treatment prices are jaw dropping! 4806_3 OTIVM Price List AW.pdf
  9. Chris Could you find out who the bartender is in the Salt Bar and also who the head sommelier is on the cruise. I will be joining April 13th in a Silver Suite so appreciate the pictures you have sent....thanks very much! Ellie
