We prefer the balcony cabins for the feeling of openness and the ability to just walk outside and sit away from the crowds. The cost is what it is. Many times we have cabins next to family and friends so we open the balcony doors to enjoy a gathering .

Agreed just bring your own.

On a listed sold out cruise:ie the discovery princess for the solar eclipse…is it or do they have a process for getting on the cruise? A back up sign on or something like that.? I can attempt myself or go through an agent. Is there a waitlist or something? Thanks all.

Our son in law and dear wife tried to downgrade from premier to plus and they would have been charged more than the original cruise cost. Don’t understand that.!

Princess has this whole thing messed up. Either it gets to your house or just go to the cruise terminal and get it. I understand your concern as I am also.

I’m in the same situation…my DW contacted the personal at the cruise terminal and they took care of it all. No cost. When you drop off your bags tell the folks there that you need that and they take care of the rest. Very easy and convenient.

Have never had to have a reservation….always walked over and went there. Usually escorted by the matre d.
