I wore a pair of dress pants and a button shirt (no tie) on my last Carnival cruise. And I felt overdressed.

I do not think you can buy wifi for certain days. You have to buy the whole cruise. I could be wrong. BTW, even with the highest plan, we got 1 or 2 MB/s speed, in good days. We went to internet support (photo department) and was told it was normal with satellite internet.

Social package will not work. Actually my mobile games did not work even with the highest package. I do not know it was because the speed was so slow or they blocked certain sites/ports. I was on Mardi Gras.

The beauty of the fixed time dinning is you walk straight to your table and there is no wait. Depending on the time you show up, you may have to wait for Your Time Time dinning, especially in the "formal" (lobster) nights. One time we were in the line for more than 30 minutes. A young couple in front us said it's their first and last cruise...

Yes, the portion size is definitely smaller than before. On our last Mardi Gras cruise, the waiter actually told us the portion was small and suggested us to order more. It is good as I can try multiple dishes and do not waste food or make myself too full. The ladies next to us ordered all entrees on the menu.

We had chosen YTD since it was introduced. But, I forgot to select dinning option in our last Mardi Gras cruise and was assigned to late dinning. We were upset. But when we went to YTD door by mistake and saw the customers waiting in line, then went to our door and saw the waiters lining up there welcoming us, we changed our mind. We were party of 3 and we had our own table. So there was no forced conversation, no waiting for tablemates to show up.

Yeah, just leave your TV on ship cams. With the bigger flat TV, it is your ocean view window. There are multiple cams, so you can even choose your view. Better than a real ocean view cabin, right? And, hang one or two towels on your TV pretending they are window curtains.
