  1. You can always let them charge part of the cost on your card and then use a statement credit to pay for it. Not nearly the value of an upgrade but some help for the kids.
  2. I take individual vanilla creamers (International Delight) on every cruise. We either take a box of 24 or 48 depending on how long the cruise is and leave the leftovers for the crew at the end of the cruise. I pack them in my carry-on.
  3. Call the NCL Access Desk at 866-584-9756. They can tell you exactly how wide the doors are and whether the chair will fit. Scootaround should also know but check with NCL Access to be sure.
  4. In May of 2022 I received notice that I was outbid for the Joy 2 BR suite. I immediately went in and lowered my bid. (Can't make me bid more 🤣) Two days later I got the email that we were upgraded from the HI to the 2-bedroom suite. I think when they don't have what they consider high enough bids, they try to get you to bid more. Why else did we get awarded it when I lowered our bid? Just my humble opinion.
  5. Figures....we will be in the middle of the ocean on a cruise then.
  6. But better yet, charge the things you want to use the OBC for to get the triple points and then request a statement credit to pay off the charges. This way you earn points on your charges and still have the same amount to not have to pay.
  7. @mking8288Bon Voyage! Thank you for all your great "Live" threads. I love following along. We will be doing this cruise next September.
  8. TFL is $150 deductible and 25% of cost overseas for Group A Retirees. Copayments & Cost-Shares | TRICARE However - TFL will not fly you home - only to the nearest hospital so you'll need other insurance to cover that.
  9. NCL still has Feb thru June 2024 grayed out for me as of a few minutes ago. The first cruise missing is the 2nd half of our B2B! I hope it's not cancelled!
  10. On the ship, Yes, even if you have separate accounts after the charge is made you just have to both visit Guest Services and they will transfer the charge from the 3rd passenger's account to the person with the OBC. You both must be there to sign that you know the charge is being transferred. You can even do it between cabins.
  11. It doesn't have to be. If you aren't traveling with a spouse or partner just put a note on the application form that you want the OBC to all be posted to your account and not shared. I've done it before when I cruised with friends....my shares - my OBC!
  12. I agree! I have been on the Prima twice and loved it both times! Do not take other people's word for it! Try it for yourself and make up your own mind.
  13. We've had our date, time and location for our M&G on the Getaway in November for at least 2-3 weeks already. People on the roll call wanted to know when it would be so I went ahead and emailed them at the beginning of June and got a reply about a week later. But I think each ship does it their own way so YMMV.
  14. Just prepaid our parking. Dropped off luggage with porters on the 3rd level and me and my scooter there at the elevator. Hubby parked and then I rode my scooter down in the elevator, thru check-in and onto the ship. Easy, peasy!
  15. Food was fantastic in Los Lobos but we went on Cinco de Mayo so it was jammed. Reservations were about 20-30 minutes delayed. We already had our entrees and still did not have the "made at the table guac" so DH cancelled it. We did make it out in time for the fantastic Donna Summer show. Le Bistro was great as usual. I had the tenderloin which I always seem to order. It was melt in your mouth good!
