  1. Daisi we can’t have the guys experiencing eyesight problems now can we!
  2. 1of4 I completely understand. I would do the Bordeaux cruise again for their similar ex-submarine pens experience. To see these paintings sat down in comfort would be to my mind absolutely the best. Why mess with this. It could be the most amazing immersive art experience ever. I’m glad you’re home safe and sound and I’ve enjoyed so much your journey with you. Thank you.
  3. Scenic once offered canoeing on their Rhône cruise, I didn’t do it as any of my Guides would tell you I go round in circles, much to their delight.
  4. Agree with Jazz but I’m pretty sure the one item of luggage is to do with the staff rather than storage you’ll have all of under the bed to use. The Orient Express is where you really must follow the luggage rules.
  5. One of my son in laws introduced me to the Aero Press and it’s in my collection but I must admit to having a few battles with it so I tend to use my Brew Stick when travelling.
  6. Well ummmmm I just have to admit considering that my little sisters phone is an android that can’t do WhatsApp’s and for some few years I just took over my husbands cast off phones (ohhh I loved my Blackberry) my phone at the moment is an iPhone 7! Although my iPad is one of the latest. My next phone is going to be a huge leaning curve, question can my brain take it! Still my challenge for today is, just go for it.
  7. 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other each has their good and bad points. My iPhone is getting a bit long in the tooth a bit like myself so I will soon have to make the ‘biggest decision of my life so far - well according to a few friends.
  8. Maybelline just a thought May-be a certain Chuck Berry song!
  9. Thats absolutely fine especially if for the evening for instance you add a wrap, one worn well looks really classy and fools most of the people most of the time, or a little bling say belt or shoes or necklace just watch it doesn’t drop into the soup. I must admit to finding the dressing bit a lot of fun especially when you wear that little bit of something that looks exquisite and cost pennies. It’s all part of the preparation and build up to your cruise. Lists lists and oh yes more lists use to pack then forget and go with the flow.
  10. To a certain extent it’s the juxtaposition of the large (but certainly not the largest no room) static music “makers” and the exquisite tiny bird boxes with there little tweeters. My DH was at first not best pleased when I purchased a bean to cup machine he soon learnt how to use it though. I’ve now got about six different coffee making systems including a stand alone grinder so I usually purchase beans rather than pre-ground. It’s amazing the different varieties that are available.
  11. DH says yes it was I found their website and the front is the same. Ah memories.
  12. At one end of and top of the arch of a bridge in Bath there is the head of Old Father Thames and at the other the head of Sabrina supposedly so that the boatmen knew which river they were heading towards.
  13. Think on this okay it was a business cruise, out from Southampton across to the Channel Islands and back (the only sea cruise I’ve been on!) all the bling and matching dress and pocket square. Enough to put me off sea cruising for ever. I much preferred being the plus one to the USA!
