Do I need to make reservation in advance or they're just waiting outside the cruise terminal? I checked the port schedule and we are the only ship docking that day (smaller ship as well) so not sure if they won't show up? And do you know roughly it might cost? Thank you so much.

We are arriving late in the season (first week of Oct) and disembark at Juneau early in the morning and flying out at night. What's the best way to get to airport from the cruise terminal to pick up a rental car so we can drive around for the day to do some sightseeing. Due to the late season, most of the tours aren't available.
