Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Hi Party of four adults just returned from a transatlantic cruise which included a stop in Martinique. We did a North Island full day tour with Sebastianotours.com. I can't comment on the south but this part of Martinique is beautiful and we loved our tour which was similar to the one you're considering. It helped that our guide was very knowledgeable.
  2. Hi all We are doing the transatlantic on Arvia in October and thinking of booking an independent North Island tour in Martinique. Does any one know how long we are likely to be in port & whether Arvia uses the Port Simon Pier in Fort De France or Tourelles? TIA
  3. We have Carnival shares purchased through Hargreaves Lansdown. Do you know what document we need to send to P&O as proof of ownership. TIA
  4. I have found that the simplest and most efficient option is to send an email to sbpcl@princesscruises.com and attach your account statement. Put your name, ship and cruise departure date in the subject line, then include the information you used to put on the form in the body of the email rather than add as another attachment. Princess seem to be processing via this method really quickly with OBC added to your account within a few days. Hope this helps. 🙂
  5. Thankyou. No, the FCCs are not on My Princess. I had read the info on the website & I've been in contact with my Personal cruise specialist but he simply said it would take at least 6 weeks before head office dealt with this type of FCC which could be a bit of an issue if these FCCs expire by September 2023. I'm not holding my breath since our refundable OBC ( & that of 2 other couples) has not yet been refunded either
  6. Am I right in thinking the first item listed (Cruise with Confidence) includes FCCs which should be issued due to being quarantined during your cruise? I was quarantined for 6 days on a cruise which ended 5 Aug. So far I've heard nothing at all about entitlement to FCCs (I think some ships have issued a letter while still on board?) and do not know what this would be or whether it would extend to my other half. Can anyone enlighten me? TIA
  7. We were also on this specific cruise but neither us or our travel companions (3 couples, 3 accounts) have yet received our refundable OBC. I think for UK residents this is returned to our credits cards. Can't see why this should take longer than a cheque by snail mail 🙂
  8. Thanks for replying. I'm glad to hear your symptoms are mild & you're being looked after, albeit not what you were hoping for on a cruise. Have a safe journey home & fingers crossed for a swift recovery.
  9. Sorry to hear you're in isolation. Hope Princess are treating you reasonably well and your symptoms are not too bad. Out of interest, would you be kind enough to state which part of the ship is being used for isolation while it sails from Southampton. Take care
  10. As Brits it is worth us pre purchasing OBC as the USD exchange rate we get from Princess is quite a bit higher than even the best credit card rates we can get.
  11. Thank you for confirming this. Much appreciated.
  12. We're trying to decide whether to purchase some on board credit for our cruise on Enchanted Princess. I know some credits are non refundable but am I right in thinking that this type would be refundable if not spent? Thank you for your help
