I actually agree with you! I just wondered if I was understanding things correctly. Family member insists that Princess would just take our bags for us and we could go meet a separate tour. I find that hard to believe, but since they had the luggage valet thing, I second guessed it. Yes, I do know that the gardens are in Victoria! There are several tours that meet in Canada Place, take you out to the ferry, over to Victoria to see the gardens, and then reverse. It's a long day.

Well, my question is if Princess will still deliver my bags to the Westin Bayshore. I've booked the hotel and transfers with Princess.

This would NOT be a Princess tour. What I was hoping was that bags would go to the hotel while I met for a Buchart Gardens tour in Canada Place. Is that an option? We booked the Westin Bayshore via Princess and it says transfers are included to there, so I'm guessing they'll take me and my bags to that hotel. Do I have to be with the bags, or will they deliver the luggage on my behalf while I go do this other tour?

If I book a post-cruise hotel in Vancouver, it looks like Princess will then provide transfers to the hotel and then to the airport. However, if I wanted to get off the ship and go right to a tour, would Princess take my bags to the hotel without me? Or I must go with the bags to the hotel? Thanks!

I am most unhappy about this. I don't even have the option to rebook because we have two connecting staterooms and a double kennel that we'll completely lose if we rebook. Taking away one night and this measly OBC compensation is not sitting well with me. One of our staterooms is four children--what are they going to do with $100 OBC? Not even giving it to all four passengers so they could at least do nice dining one night?

well, that makes me feel a little better. At least I'm not crazy. I don't understand the advertising for a discount if there isn't one.

MSC says that Aurea level bookings should get a 20% discount on specialty restaurant prepaid package, but if I go to add it, it's only a 10% discount. What am I doing wrong? Sailing April 1 on Grandiosa. TIA!

We're looking to book the Viva for late October Greece/Italy sailing. This is a new itinerary for us, and I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts on staterooms on one side of the ship over the other. Itinerary: Athens Santorini Kusadasi Istanbul Mykonos Olympia Catonia Naples/Pompeii Florence/Pisa end in Rome Or maybe it doesn't matter?

I booked a VH on Koningsdam for September and then called in to add Club Orange. They took payment for Club Orange and moved me to my new stateroom. The statement that came now has my price point $350 higher. Is that an error on their part?

Any way to book this other than calling in? I sat on hold for an hour, got an agent who put me on hold, and then sent me back to the beginning of the menu so I hung up. Is there any way to book this online? Or if not, what option should I be choosing when i call in? None of them sound right--not a new booking, not a payment!

We have two busy days in Skagway and Juneau, so Ketchikan will be a slower day for us. We currently have booked the lumberjack show with ax throwing booked through the cruise line, but I'd really rather book directly on my own so we can walk/explore the town and go to the lumberjack show we choose rather than having to go back to the ship to meet a group. However, online I can only book the lumberjack show--not the ax throwing. The site says to book show first and then you'll get options for add ons but I don't seem to have that. I emailed them but no reply. Am I missing something? Anyone know how to add on the ax throwing? Or is it not worth adding? Traveling will be myself (40s) and teenage son (17). Thanks!
