  1. Josprince, the Elvis show is no longer. I think the guy retired. I’ve been here 33 years. Originally from nyc. This is my first ta cruise and my partners third time. He’s so chill about it all and I’m the nervous nelly. Let’s meet for a cocktail for sure! Is there a meet and mingle on this cruise? I’ve always been a cruise leader and set them up. This is the first cruise that I’m doing as a real passenger. Can NOT wait for Saturday!!
  2. I’m actually being taken on this trip of a lifetime by the man of a lifetime!! It is something I never in a million years thought I’d be booked on, and at 64 yrs old, you could say this has been on my bucket list for a very very long time… I am so very fortunate. LobsterStalker, you will make that happen! I have faith. 😉
  3. I have patches in case I’m seasick which has never happened and layering is the only way to travel! We were in Denver last month and even in 30 degrees it got warm and we peeled. I am packing with layering in mind all the way. Light things that can be layered and a foldable backpack to put the layers that come off. I am still concerned with being outside on the ship but I guess a couple of hoodies should be suffice. I also have a lightweight northface jacket that ill probably pack.
  4. Thanks! My other half has been many times and I’ve been to Milan only. We have three nights in Rome, one night the ballet, then on to the amalfi coast and three days to wing it. Then the Italian open tennis match for our last day before a night in Lisbon.
  5. We are leaving on the Odyssey od the Seas on April 22, for the two week transatlantic cruise. I have never sailed across the Atlantic and I’m wondering what to expect weather-wise when I’m outside on the ship? Do I pack springtime lighter clothing, or warmer jeans and light jacket? I’m already straight with what to wear inside the ship, but I’ve always cruises to the Caribbean and never transatlantic. Any feedback will be so great! I’m trying not to overpack for the first time in my life because we will also be traveling Italy for a week after we disembark in Rome. Thanks in advance!!!
