We set sail on Saturday so this is extra fun for me right now!! Looking forward to your next installment. And I can't wait to get my first late night pizza and cookies!

It would be lovely to disconnect all together but some of us have loved ones (aging or sick parents, young children, etc) that we need to keep in touch with daily. And yes, I'm aware that they can EVENTUALLY get a message to us if there were to be an emergency but for some of us, an enjoyable vacation begins with peace of mind and knowing my kids can reach me if they should need to. Just because some of us desire to stay in touch doesn't mean we're disconnected from our vacation of spend our meals with our "faces in phones". Everyone has different lives, needs, desires. That's why the internet is an OPTION.

I have very little experience on other cruise lines (sailed NCL once). With all the talk about Carnival eliminating food options, I wonder if those of you who cruise other lines regularly could shed some light on what late night food options are available on NCL and Royal? And how each charges (or not) for room service. I hear people saying they are ready to jump ship to another brand and I'm curious as what is the benefit on these two topics specifically.

Hi everyone! We're sailing 9/24 out of NYC to Bermuda. This is our first sailing since 2019 (!) and I've been following along the past few months to see how the embark process has been (lines, wait times, confusion, etc) but haven't seen much as of late. Can anyone share their experience with the embarkation process in NYC. We will be driving to port and parking and have a 10:30-11:00 check-in time. Thank you!

Double vaxed and boosted and still had (very mild) infection. But I agree - everyone or no one. It's pretty ridiculous at this point.

So complete honor system so I have to wonder what's the point in testing at all? But also, where's the "proof" that you even tested? Bring your self-administered home test to the port for check-in? (I'm just annoyed that unvaccinated peeps can take any old test at this point, but I still need a proctored test for Bermuda despite being double vaxed and boosted.)

I've read some not-so-great reviews recently as well. I've sailed Magic in the past and really loved her so I'm hoping to have a great sailing in September, especially because we're sailing with friends who are first timers and I want them to have a great experience!

Yes, it has been getting beat up pretty bad. We've sailed Magic previously so we didn't hesitate to book again just curious how this will compare. I'm happy to make the best of it but we're traveling with some cruise newbies and I'm hoping for a great experience for them!

We're booked for this itinerary at the end of September and I can't decide if I should arrive at the port as early as possible or much later. We typically like to arrive early and just wait in the terminal but there are benefits to arriving a little later and walking on board. What time did you arrive to the port?

I've looked at Port O Call on Trip Advisor and it looks wonderful - thanks for the recommendation. It's going to be hard to choose. Thankfully we'll be in port for a couple of days and could potentially try more than one!

My husband and I are sailing to Bermuda for the first time in September to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I've been reading all of the reviews at Trip Advisor and I think we're settled on Harry's. If anyone has any experience, reviews or opinions to offer, we would really appreciate it!
