Thank you everyone for all of your very kind posts. There are just too many of you to list them all Ior I will run out of time 😉 ) My BFF was very relieved and happy when she got the call. I believe I I am mostly packed. I didn’t realize how much room my styrofoam roller board would take, Yikes! I’ll be leaving it behind when I come home. It’s for my physio and I have the big one at home. I got the bear down from the fireplace mantle to take and Ivan’s eyes lit up (new toy). He never got such a hard no in his life. It used to be on the table but Mr. “I love stuffed toys” would not be able to resist it. LOL. The door to the living room was open as I was working upstairs on packing and bringing the stuff down and it was untouched. It was buried a bit but if has wanted to….. Somebody was looking for my live thread today. I told them I didn’t know if I could go until this morning. LOL. Way behind on clean up - Ivan takes time. Good Thursday morning everyone. Thanks to Sandi @StLouisCruisers for taking over the Fleet Report & thanks as always to Rich, Roy, Vanessa, Debbie, Dixie & Ann. Many thanks to all of you who expressed care and concern yesterday. I really appreciate it. To answer a couple of people, I didn’t really injure my foot. It was a reaction to a too ambitious pedicure. Sadly the advice that the podiatrist gave me missed the mark and aggravated things so it went from bad to worse. thankfully I found the foot nurse specialist who quickly changed things around. She actually came to the house (she offered) last night to check the foot and was pleased with the progress. Doctor wants me to continue my protocols but I am good to go! Foot will stay painful for a few days until everything is healed so I requested wheel chair service to not overwork it when we get to Pearson - it’s a long walk to U.S. Immigration. Doctor was very pleased I am not pushing it. Doctor is concerned with the blood flow in my foot but since it’s been that way for some time she thinks it is ok - especially since I am in North America and can get home if needed. I have an appointment for a referral to the vascular surgeon when I return. So, I best get moving and packing and prep the house. Everything else is done - Ivan has his shots (he was a very good boy yesterday) and annual and the SUV is in the garage. Many, many thanks to you all. 💜

Sorry everyone. I haven’t been on a whole lot and apologize to all for any losses, worries or concerns I have missed. I am just too stressed and depressed. The foot has not become less painful and I was told to get into the doctor yesterday. She has prescribed some stuff but very concerned and I am to see her tomorrow morning first thing. At that time, I will be advised if I can go on the cruise or not. I’m supposed to be leaving Friday. Had no heart to pack any further yesterday. To say I am depressed is an understatement.

When you pre-pay you pay the full amount for the meal. Once you are on board, you will receive on board credit for the discount you are entitled to. It should appear on your statement on embarkation day or by the next day at the latest. If it fails to appear (I haven’t had this happen in years) then go to the Front Desk (Guest Services) to have it attended to. I tried to do that and was told to go to Guest Services (Front Desk) who took care of it. The specialty dining podium can make reservations or amend but they cannot do the switch to OBC - at least that is what I was told on the Rotterdam.

I saw prepaid and assumed they had reservations they had paid for. Absolutely on HIA reservations - there is nothing to refund. they are use it or lose it.

Sometimes you have no choice - for example casino sailings are non refundable - you need to purchase HAL”s CPP the day of booking if you want protection.

Do the same thing as for the shore excursions only go to the FRONT DESK and ask them to refund you credit card and charge it to your on bard account. In reality the monies get refunded as OBC but it is refundable OBC and if you don’t use it, your credit card will be credited.
