Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. For info: I applied to Princess UK by email ( benefits@princesscruises.co.uk ) three days ago and, today, received emailed confirmation that the obc had been been applied to my booking - 72 days out from my Sky Princess Norway cruise ex Southampton - and I can confirm that it appears in my online account. Fast and efficient service IMHO.
  2. My FCC has now disappeared from my account! OH's is still there. Hey ho...
  3. Below are links to screenshots of some of the bar prices on Sky Princess from June 2022. Each bar has a QR code on its tables which takes you to a web page with the price list - I have no idea how often these may be updated. Some of the screenshots are long and thin and you may have to zoom and pan . Alfredo's Pizzeria (drinks prices are about half way down) Bellini's Crown Grill Bar Good Spirits At Sea (at the time of sailing, this bar did not have post mixers - only cans, useful if you are on a drinks package and prefer your soda from a can) Princess Live Retreat Pool Bar Sea View Bar Take Five Lounge Vines Wine Bar (didn't seem to stock many of the wines listed) Vista Lounge Wake View Bar World Fresh Marketplace
  4. Thanks to all for your contributions. The FCC has now been added to our accounts with no intervention from us. Credited 7 weeks after receiving the onboard notification of our entitlement.
  5. Sorry if this has been asked before. On a recent Sky Princess cruise my oh was quarantined for 72h. She received a letter after she was released outlying the FCC we were each entitled too. It is now 3 weeks since the end of our cruise and the FCC is yet to appear on our Princess accounts. Does anyone have any experience of how long it usually takes Princess to assign FCC in these circumstances? TIA for any info
  6. Sky Princess, Gravdal, Lofoten Islands, Norway, day 10 of 14 nights... Masks now compulsory inside, except when sitting to eat or drink, and outside in 'large' (number unspecified) groups. Not surprisingly, rules change on board not just pre-departure. Covid possibly propagated more because of the large number of passengers inside on this cruise to the cold climes of the Arctic Circle. Also, despite recommendations, until a couple of days ago, only a small minority of passengers were wearing masks in for example lifts and the theatre.
  7. In case anyone from Princess monitors this forum…what is the reasoning for imposing European Union Healthy Gateways Guidelines for cruises ex UK, not a member of the EU, to Norway, also not a member of the EU and a country without any COVID related entry requirements? If it has been imposed by corporate insurance requirements then why not be upfront and say so? Changing COVID boarding requirements at the last minute for upcoming cruises is even more galling when Princess hide behind EU regulations/guidelines that don’t necessarily apply in the UK an other non EU countries.
  8. DAM-health has £24.49 certificated antigen tests performed by a clinicin. There is a branch in Southampton. https://www.dam-health.com/antigen-test/?gclid=CjwKCAjwjtOTBhAvEiwASG4bCJcjebwy-pmTx3cXCdYSHX6L6H0c31JZzNKE4yn61z5wHZSBUCAYOBoCGIQQAvD_BwE
  9. Twelve hours ago on my Travel Itinerary in the Important Notices | Notifications section the wording was identical to that quoted by @KML246. Now it reads: "..- produce acceptable proof of a negative viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) taken before of embarkation..." Which, although grammatically incorrect, may mean that for me as an "up to date" guest travelling ex Southampton, UK, to Norway (which is not a member of the EU) an antigen test taken within 3 days of embarkation should be acceptable. 🤞
  10. Same as your Travel Summary but when you go to the quoted link https://*****/pcl_uktest for ”up to date” fully vaccinated and boosted it again say 3 days! The short URL https://*****/pcl_uktest takes you to the page indicating within 3 days for “up to date” guests!!
