I saw someone recently complaining that some of the furniture in the stateroom is showing its age but wasn’t sure if that was just an unlucky person or picky person. Didn’t figure any major changes.

Anyone heard anything official about what the renovation will be starting the end of this month?

We love speciality dining and were wondering if you can get packages at a reduced rate? Also little off topic we heard we can get Indian food in the main dinning room on most princess - how do you end up getting that?

Wow this is crazy that there are no photographers? No back drops on formal night or anyone walking around. I am not a board person photo but like the formal night photos at least

Hello all - trying to budget for our upcoming cruise. Back in the day you could buy packages of digital and print packages. All I can see for our upcoming cruise is Exclusive Photo sessions which appear to be sit down and a lot more expensive. Can you pay to get all the digital photos they take while on board or something like that? Thanks for the help.

@flvol77 @r2h2 @jelayne - thank you all for the information. I can deal with Eden being even little loud to 11 or 12 - we don't even have dinner to usually 8 or 8:30. I really want to make sure and be able to use the balcony to the fullest.

So we are looking to do an aft balcony on Ascent next year. I get these cabins go quickly but the cruise I am looking at deck 7 has all the cabins available and other decks are being taken quickly. So I know deck 7 has Eden right below and the cabin is completely covered. But I would think the higher cabins with no covering wouldn't be all that nice? We enjoy breakfast and a late cocktail on our balcony and would think the covering would be better? But I feel like I am missing something since the other cabins are going so quickly. Is there something I am missing? Insight is appreciated.

Quick question. If we have say a $4000 cruise credit certificate and let’s say our cruise will cost 4,100. But Celebrity wants a $200 deposit. Is there a way when I apply the cruise certificate to get 100 dollars back of the 200 I put upfront? I know I can use the certificate to when booking the cruise but we love to change our minds and want to wait to right before final payment before applying it. Thanks

Quick question has anyone been able to use their shore excursion credit for something else like on board or spa etc? We never get off the ship...but the have it all program is really nice perk that we wanted to get. Thanks.

Had a quick question - booked Eurodam in 12/2023 over the Black Friday sale and notice today that their current sale for my booking is the same price but now has 300 on board credit which I didn't have. I thought I could call and just get the new deal since outside of final payment and they said I would have to cancel the current booking and rebook? This seems really backwards and a lot more paperwork for Holland America. Am I missing something? Thanks
