  1. Since we are doing B2B we wanted to have sushi for lunch on embarkation day on the Discovery Princess. Does anyone know if the Ocean Terrace is open for lunch on Embarkation day?
  2. Thanks for the info, the Yoga class was on my back up list.
  3. We’re doing a B2B and our stock credit was given for each segment. The amount is based on the length of the cruise.
  4. I also found the fitness class list within the Ships Journey tab on the app. I do Enhanced Fitness at our local YMCA and was hoping that the stretch class would be a good fit while on the cruise. Does anyone have personal experience with this class?I would like to hear a first hand description. Thanks
  5. We like the queen bed set up but have them put the twin blankets on top instead of the queen comforter.
  6. We like to use magnetic hooks to hang our bathing suites near the sliding glass door. Our suits seem to dry faster than hanging them in the bathroom.
  7. 1. We have stayed in that cabin years ago on another ship. The cabin location is very nice, but it is a long walk to the midship area where most of the dining venues. The balcony is very large and a wonderful treat. Be sure to have a sun hat to wear on your balcony. 2. If you really want a suite then I would put in a bid for the amount you are comfortable with paying. Princess will let you know close to sail date if you won the bid. Personally we find the mini suite large enough for two people on a long voyage. 3. Your medallion will arrive about two weeks before the cruise. 4. If Princess says your birthday doesn’t match their records then I would take the time to call them (and wait on hold a long time) to be sure all important info is correct. 5. Yes, you can use the app to book specialty dining. If you have Platinum or Elite status you can book dining reservations before final payment. IMHO I would make reservations in a dining room close to your cabin if mobility is an issue. There is one dining room in the aft of the ship. 6. The sanctuary is an Adults only pay for a lounger area. We really like the pampering we received and enjoy this area on Sea Days. 7. The dining room is my go to for food unless I have an early excursion then I’ll pick up breakfast at the international cafe. Have a fabulous cruise, that is one of our bucket list cruises too.
  8. We took my mom and our kids,(when they were little), on the submarine in Honolulu. It was good for the group at the time.
  9. When getting the premiere package remember it is three prints per person with the package. You can use the app to look at your photos taken on your phone. On our next cruise we will be doing a back to back, so I will pick up my photo prints at the end of each segment. Also I have Princess put all my photos on a drive to take home in addition to downloading them onto my phone. Once at home I use an online photo service to make larger prints/canvas’ of my favorite pictures.
  10. It would be great if they had and Enhanced Fitness Class or a chair yoga class.
  11. When you have Premiere package the digital photos can also be downloaded to a key stick. On our last cruise I downloaded the images to my phone and had the key stick full of photos.
  12. I just downloaded the new app on one device to see if it easily works. Nope, none of my dining reservations transferred. Minnesotasisu, Thank you for the help, the “heart” worked.
  13. I just downloaded the new app on one device to see if it easily works. Nope, none of my dining reservations transferred. I will stick with the old app until after my solar Eclipse cruise.
  14. My son and spouse are GF and we have been on several Mexican cruises. If you don’t speak Spanish then I would be sure to get the Celiac translation cards. They have not had an issue when ordering on land, but we try to eat a bit early or look for a smaller restaurant.
  15. Our favorite things on a Princess Cruise: MDR service and accommodations for Gluten Free dining. The Sanctuary Vines for predinner drinks Theater shows and comedians Staff all around the ship Specialty dining options
