I was watching Food Network this morning and saw a recipe for French Onion Soup......that melted Gruyere cheese on top looked heavenly.🙂

In my experience ball gowns have never been necessary. I don't even wear regular dresses. Slacks and tops are my choice of attire.

Nothing for me. I take a medication and the timing for the evening dose is dependent on my last bite of food. If I eat something late? I have to wait at least 90 minutes to take the pills. If the ship is having an "evening culinary event" I normally always pass it up. The price I pay for keeping me in remission.

Hi Janet, glad your heart is ok🙂 Oh, the Dr wants me to start taking vitamin D. At least it is little in size! A small gelatin style pill.

Just curious if they changed anything since last year......Is the Arts Cafe still only open till 6pm? Or did they wake up and decide to offer evening hours? And did they decide to offer adult beverages in that venue?

Good morning, so yesterday I had a follow up appt with the Kidney Dr. This now seems to be a recurring thing😧....I go to the lab for bloodwork and then go see her about all my results. Usually we are looking to see that my creatine number is ok. And it is BUT now for some reason, there seems to be a small amount of protein in my urine. Now, I am learning about all of this on the fly...having protein in it is not supposed to be a good thing☹️. She did say she is going to give it some time since I just went through all the stuff.......hospital visit, outpatient procedure, the stents, etc...etc...etc... and oh by the way, I was on 3 different antibiotics so that puts a strain on the system too😧 I feel like my system is falling about....but I am not in any pain (a good thing of course) but seems my kidneys are just a big PITA..........lets hope the protein thing clears up. I go see the Dr again after I get back from my cruise.

Hi PH, welcome home🙂 I had my stents removed today. The Dr sent out some of the particles from the stones to lab to see what the actual make up of them was........he said sometimes it can take 2 to 3 weeks to get the results back. He could not give me an answer on why I have had recurring stones. They can send a person to the moon but medical answers are still not always available😮
