We have premier package for our upcoming 14 day on Enchanted. Listed value for "Specialty Dinning 2 nights" is $117.60. It totally makes sense for us to go with the premier. I'm into wine and cognac, so 3-4 shots of Remy Martin XO every day will pay for the difference between plus and premier. Interestingly, premium dessert is valued at $426.44. I'm sure my dentist will put a much higher price tag on it. 😄

We were on Discovery last week with premium package. Went to The Catch twice. There was no slip to sign, and there was no additional charge of tips to our folio.

Last trip on the Emerald, we purchased plus package from a waiter at dinning room during lunch right after getting onboard. Drink we ordered during that lunch was not charged, it's instantaneous as described by Rick&Jeannie.

They will still get their share of $$ when I pay the difference above $15 😭 I will check with dw, included SD may make this worthwhile. We do plan to try out the Catch.

We got off Solstice on 2/11/23, had classic package, internet was almost non-existent. We could send and receive text all right, but anything involving pictures or videos would not go through.

Totally agree. We will be stepping on board as you get off next Sat. We are first timer on X, and refuges from Princess 😄. Grass may or may not be greener on the other side. We will see how it stacks up against P in food, service, and entertainment.

Just my own experience. Like OP's dad, I'm also a naturalized citizen, went on the 10 day (Mar 25 to Apr 4, 2022) sea of Cortez cruise, closed loop leaving from LA (San Pedro to be exact). My passport was going to expire on June 2, 2022. I didn't run into any problem with my passport. I have since renewed it, good for another 10 years.

If you are embarking from a US port, and debarking at a Canadian port, that may be a violation of PVSA. I believe you may be on the hook for penalty in the range of several hundreds per person. So you really want to confirm with Princess CS rep on this.
