We're sailing on the Encore the first week of March. Can anyone tell me where we can find open lounge chairs in the sun, other than the area around the pool and the Vibe? We don't want to have to save chairs while we go to lunch, etc. With the speedway there doesn't appear to be many areas for open sunning. Thanks.

The pictures are great! I loved the octopus!! I know exactly how you feel about trying to get out of the water with a heavy scuba tank, weights, etc. I've been there and fell about 8 times because of the surf. Eventually got out with lots of help -- so embarrassing! I'm glad you got to dive there and see so much. Can't wait until our cruise. We are certified divers. You all need to get certified -- looks like you had no problems at all underwater.

Mitsugirly, we are doing this exact cruise the first week of March and planning on diving at Coki beach. We've been here several times but always brought our own gear. This time we're thinking of just renting it. What was the condition of the gear, and how much did it cost? Your pictures are great!

All our party of 8 have 2 specialty dining credits. Can just one of us make the reservation for a fixed price venue for everyone? Since we are Platnium we can reserve specialty dining 125 days before cruise, but the rest of the group can't. Will I be charged the cover fee for everyone?

Just booked the Encore for next March. I can see all the benefits from our booking, but not the OBC. Will that show up once we are onboard?

As soon as you leave the ship and head to the welcome booth just turn left and walk along those tiny house-looking buildings. They are right there. No need for a shuttle. You'll return the car there too.

I would say try it and see. Worst case senario they will hold the extra two bottles until the last night of the cruise and then return them. Here's where I found their policy, but I can't find it now so not sure if it's changed or not.

I guess policies can change at any time, but we sailed on the Equinox this April and were allowed two bottles per person.

Do they limit how many bottles you can bring onboard? We do have the drinks package.

One of the biggest differences is that on Carnival you can enjoy the Adults Only Serenity deck. Celebrity did away with this, replacing it with "The Retreat" which is only for Suite guests. Consequently it's difficult to find a quiet area, but Celebrity usually has fewer kids and caters to a more mature audience. Still, we miss the area in the front of the ships that used to be for everyone.
