  1. Mine says 6/13/2023. Btw I’m very impressed. All of our cabins have received our full refunds today including any extras purchased.
  2. I’m going to give credit where credit is due. Was not happy that our Oct 2 Greek Isles was cancelled last week and they wouldn’t allow us to just transfer the funds to another ship. We also waited about 5 months for a refund from our COVID cancelled Europe cruise and it was a battle so didn’t have much faith. I’m happy to say that one week after NCL cancelled the cruise all of our cabins have every dime back including excursions etc.
  3. Mine, the October 2nd cancelled cruise, is still on my cruise planner and still showing shore excursions for booking, offers to upgrade drink packages etc even though I’ve received the cancellation letter. Yesterday I got an email about tender procedures in Santorini🙄. They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. My email to Katty Byrd et al did seem to inspire some form of outreach. Now they’ve offered to hold space on Gem for us without payment till our refund arrives. Should have been part of the original offer but, too little, too late. All of our group’s cabins have been rebooked on Odyssey of the Seas. Sayonara.
  4. Absolutely false. For Covid cancellations that worked for some people at some US banks -not all. It did not work where I’m from and I’m a senior officer at a bank. Where the companies agreed to provide refunds you had to wait out their process regardless of how long it took. I finally got Katty Byrd to help find the issue for 12 of us and it got sorted 5 months later. Nice job telling me this is my fault though. How goofy. My only mistake was giving them another chance.
  5. What FCC would that be? There’s no FCC -they’re processing refunds for the next 30 days. That doesn’t even make sense.
  6. Sorry to hear that HB. It’s a bummer for sure. We’re coming from North America so have the airfare already so will find something. Not with NCL though. I gave them another chance and they got me again. Won’t give them another opportunity.
  7. So I haven’t posted here in years and forgot you can’t mention sites so my previous reply was deleted. Anyway the point was, the ship didn’t go from many available cabins to sold out in one day. I’ve watched the pricing for our group daily. I also know NCLs pattern prior to cancellation. It sucks that they won’t let us just shift the funds to a new voyage around the same date but rather have to put out all the funds again if we still want to go and then wait for them to decide to refund us. We waited a very long time for our refunds the last time they cancelled us. I’m not impressed.
  8. I’ve been sailing a long time. I know it takes time to book a dry dock. My point was that the Oct 2 sailing went from many cabins available to sold out in a day just before final payment. Then they pulled it entirely Saturday which was final payment day. They knew exactly what they were doing.
  9. We got our email around 1:10 pm ET but a TA had posted it earlier on an Escape Facebook page.
  10. They made sure they collected final payment though the day before they pulled this sailing down plus the two before it. I was price checking yesterday morning and could pull up available cabins (and there were lots) and then the sailing disappeared. I knew then it would be cancelled. Just like our last one that got turfed. I get the reason for the cancellation but seriously, couldn’t they have done it before collecting final? And then there’s nonrefundable airfare, hotels etc. No option to transfer funds to another sailing. Pay out of pocket again and wait for the refund. The last one took 5 months. I’m so annoyed right now. They can stuff their paltry 10%
