  1. The blurb for Cantare is "Don orange attire, enjoy specialty cocktails and dance to the hits". 🫤 I would take this into consideration when setting expectations.
  2. Aside from the Caribbean and Alaska 7 day cruises, most of the areas on HAL ships are a nice quiet place to relax.
  3. I'd say for a 9 day cruise, balcony, with HIA $3000 is a good price. Maybe not an awesome bargain but pretty good! Have a wonderful trip!
  4. Such beautiful photos! Your tour of Cartagena looks like a good one.
  5. It really doesn't matter what I think, HAL seems to think so. They know their financial situation better than I do.
  6. If 2 children playing on the dance floor are going to spoil your cruise: https://www.virginvoyages.com/
  7. I have had cabins with a bed over the main bed. It was flush with the ceiling.
  8. Now that the kids are grown we don't bring anything back for family members. When they were young it varied based on their interests. Books, jewelry, t-shirts, stuffed animals etc. Now the only thing I bring back for others, is some type of sweet treats for my book club. For us, we get a Christmas ornament and a fun bottle opener for the bar.
  9. The activities and menus will be very different on the world cruise vs. other cruises, so best not to compare and have unrealistic expectations.
  10. From what I remember only some ships have the tables with the height adjustment lever.

  12. That has not been our experience. Many times we have gotten each other a drink using one card or the other.
