We always talk about new series and movies, but just watched one of my favorite old westerns John Wayne in She wore a yellow ribbon, never get tired of seeing a great old movie like this .

I started cruising in mid 1970’s and I cruised solo so a cruise for a week would be about a months pay . Now I cruise only in suites and I prefer the larger ships because of the entertainment.

We did a similar cruise for our 25th on rccl ship in a grand suite. Fantastic cruise, we are also big celebrity suite fans edge class has fantastic perks . I would also consider MSc but definitely book their yacht club very similar perks as celebrity edge class. Barcelona is a great place to spend a few days and to start a cruise , just 30 mins from airport. I would try to find a travel agent that you can trust we aren’t allowed to recommend a name on this site.

We watched it on Hulu which shows anything on fx the following day without commercials. We just watched a very good movie yesterday American Fiction, highly recommend.

The Doubletree and Marriott share a huge lobby with several restaurants, seafood, itilian, Japanese and others plus a pub , deli and stores including a liquor store. Most restaurants have bars also. No shuttle but very cheap Uber and you can see the ship from balcony 😁.

There is a Hilton across the street from Doubletree and Marriott, the one restaurant in Marriott has a fabulous view of the harbor and a large bar I believe the name is Casablanca.

Can’t imagine what you and your family is going thru, very happy Biden is a strong ally. You have taught us a little on what you have been going thru, obviously I can’t imagine being in your shoes .

Cruise sounds fantastic George Wallace is one of the funniest comedians I ever saw and also love Michael McDonald who signed his new cd for me on R&R a few years ago. I will see both anytime they are in out area.

We always stay at the doubletree which shares a lobby with marriot, great selection of restaurants and bars in lobby , good Italian, Japanese, delis , stores etc .

I was hoping it wouldn’t continue but it does .

I also enjoy Shogun but I would have preferred that there was less Japanese with English subtitles.

I also have enjoyed this new show , never have seen Good Wife , loved Colombo ,my dad was a taxi driver in New York City for a while and he had Peter Falk in his taxi a long time ago pre Colombo , Dad was a fan and refused to take any money from him , so he wrote me and my brother and sister a short note saying how nice my dad was , I was in Germany at the time in the army .
