Listened to music all night starting at 6:30 with Dave Mason , then a lobster dinner at Le Petit Chef , then a really great cover artist , then LSB a fantastic European band that is on every cruise , then at a little past midnight Peter Asher acoustic show , what this was is him inviting many artists to play , there were about 8 different musicians plus a backup band , Looking Glass lead singer did Brandy , Peter then told us that Paul McCartney who was living in his family house as him if he wanted to hear a new song on the piano in his basement, with him was John Lennon and they both sat on the piano bench and played him “ I want to hold her hand “ , they finished with his “ World without love” written by Paul . Got back to suite about 1;30 and found this on our bed.

I am currently on the summit having a great time on a 70’s music cruise , staff has been great , have enjoyed all three specialty restaurants and our royal suite isn’t bad either 😁

My wife knows all these musicians, I grew up in the 60’s , loads of these guys are in suite lounge daily and I don’t know who most are except for the big names and the ones we have seen in the past . Shelagh took a couple of photos today, had a great time talking to one of the barmaids in suite lounge this morning a very charming girl from Mexico City , service there is outstanding.

We are in curaçao parked next to Beyond, this will be my first time in over 70 cruises that I stayed on board for the entire time. Peter Asher (half of Peter and Gordon and a big time producer ) was in the suite lounge yesterday and was in suite restaurant this morning, he recently received a trustee award at the Grammys. Looking forward to Dave Masons concert tonight , then another dinner at Le Petit Chef , had a nice dinner at Tuscan last night.

Decoy wine in Luminae and retreat no up charge

As I said I was charged in Le Petit Chef but went to concierge and they removed the fee , corkage should not be charged if you have a drink package.thanks to Stu UK for showing us celebrity doc. lots of Decoy in Luminae last night they just brought us a new bottle and left it on the table. -
We are currently on summit on a music charter, their retreat lounge is much smaller than yacht club and they no longer have any live music, but it’s never crowded and staff is fabulous. Normally when getting a glass of champagne they give you a California sparkling wine , yesterday we got Mumms, we are looking forward to our return to a MSc yacht club after thanksgiving on seaside.

I need to talk to my concierge again , since we have the premium package we should not have been charged. -
I will definitely watch that special, so many of the artists that are on these cruises signed with his A&M company and everyone said he was great to work for. At one of his concerts he talked briefly on how tragic Karen Carpenters life was. I liked his one comment when playing a hundred year old theatre in Dallas, he said it was nice to play somewhere older than he was.

Some people were lined up 2 hours early to get best seats for foreigner , they were ten deep by the stage we like the first row balcony so nobody can block our view.
