  1. Hi PH, welcome home🙂 I had my stents removed today. The Dr sent out some of the particles from the stones to lab to see what the actual make up of them was........he said sometimes it can take 2 to 3 weeks to get the results back. He could not give me an answer on why I have had recurring stones. They can send a person to the moon but medical answers are still not always available😮
  2. After sailing her back in November on the TA crossing (where has the time gone?) I will be interested in reading your posts and what your thoughts are about her.
  3. Hi Janet, let us know the cardio results.........hope all goes well. So we both go to Bermuda next month🙂 Tomorrow I have my stents removed. They do that at the Dr's office. Then Thursday I have a follow up at the Kidney Dr. I have seen her more in the last 4 months than I ever did in the 40 years before!!!!!!!!!! Kat, those are pretty cool looking sneakers! Hi Melissa, a 1 yr old and 3 year old? WOW......those are ages full of engery!
  4. Melody, so, so sorry this happened to Les again! Hope they can fix this correctly! Cynthia, wishing you a great cruise. My plans all changed yesterday. I was supposed to be taking a TA crossing in Dec but after all that I have been dealing with I just really don't feel like the flight overseas. Maybe I will feel differently in a few months but I just know I have to spend my $ on what I feel is best for me. Plus, this was a new ship and it is the sister ship of the one I sailed back in November and I wasn't really happy with that vessel........deck plans, etc..... I found a 2 week Caribbean cruise for Dec instead on the MOON, which is a ship I LOVE😀 Ft, Lauderdale to Bridgetown.....15 nights🙂 Today is the first time I am volunteering in more than 2,5 weeks!
  5. Thank you for the kind words. I do appreciate them very much. I would not worry too much and hope you have a good cruise too.
  6. Hi Dawn, I changed cruises today. I have been going round and round with some other issues lately and decided I don't want to sail The Ray. I found a 2 week Caribbean cruise on The Moon for a good price in December. (Yes, good even for a solo). I had to go back to the hospital week before last for 4 more days......then last week I had an outpatient procedure......l have no desire to fly to Europe right now. Life can get complicated and I want to spend my $$ on a ship I know I love (if that makes any sense at all)
  7. Not sure about the earliest but usually they want everyone off the ship around 9:30
  8. This entire thread is giving me pause. I started with SS in 2017 and my most recent cruise was back in November on the NOVA TA crossing. I am booked on Ray for December but I am actually thinking of cancelling it. Going back in my memory bank, my 2 favorite ships are Dawn and Moon. I did have a good time on that crossing but thinking about it now........she was not even close for me (in terms of favorite ships, deck plans, set up, etc). I have not made final payment yet so I have time to decide..........I miss the regular Arts Cafe......it is one of my most favorite spots. They really made an error oh how they did it on Nova (in my opinion).....Ray is supposed to have the same poor layout. Lots of wasted space. Just not sure I want to spend $$$$ for something I am not truly happy with.......
  9. Hi Melody, lovely, just lovely........I see you in her.......🙂 every photo of the family is so photogenic!
  10. Hi Jeff, they look great! I will bring the cream cheese and lox.
