  1. No. Why would we overpay for the cruise to get OBC unless the OBC was more than the difference in price. Personally, I pay the same that Princess charges but use a TA who gives the OBC.
  2. I have never seen a difference in service based on what package you have.
  3. Pros and cons to both of them. Both packages will include the WIFI and Gratuities, up to 15 alcohol drinks per day, unlimited specialty coffees and teas, soft drinks, bottles of water, etc. If you enjoy the specialty dining and do several per cruise you will get one free on the first night as a suite perk, and two free with the package. If you like to dine at the casual dining venues, you will get two with the Plus and unlimited with Premier. Wines by the glass up to $15 with Plus and $20 with Premier. With Plus if you order a glass of wine over the $15 you will just pay the difference +18% service charge. ($17 glass will cost you $2 plus 18%) You get the same 25% discount on bottles of wine with both packages. Premier package is $20/pp/day more than the Plus but you get other freebies not included in the Plus package. You will just have to weigh the benefits and choose. If it were I, and I was getting a free cruise, I might spring for the Premier Package.
  4. It's two per day, btw. Yes just go up and get it and sit at one of the tables and "share" it with him. No one is going to care. The problem is they are HUGE so I doubt he can eat 4 of them each day (yours and his)! If we get one, we usually share it...no way can we each eat a whole one. I heard on some ship they have special cakes in addition to the gelato desserts. Enjoy!
  5. The "Champagne" is only drinkable if ice cold and mixed with OJ....even then, it's probably not worth the calories. We won a tie breaker at Trivia once and they gave us a bottle...we gave it to the runner ups!
  6. Just looked at at my 2/2025 sailing and Crown Grill is listed at $63/pp. No way, no how will we dine there for $63!
  7. 32 day cruise with a few days to get to the ship and never had to replace it.
  8. AND if you are on a B2B, you have to cash out on each segment. Even if you booked it as one cruise but it's a B2B you have to cash out at the end of each segment (the last night). Found that out the hard way.
  9. Our cabin steward gave me one of the big Stanley Bears (and a tee shirt that said "Cruising Is Back") and on another ship the girl in the shop let me pick a smaller bear for free! They both sit on a chair in our bedroom much to my DH's dismay! LOL I got lucky!
  10. I gave the only one I ever found to the young lady in the Gelato shop. She was thrilled!
