We love Food Republic!

It’s the Breakaway, so unfortunately no Food Republic- we love it! But it does have Wasabi- which I think is a similar setup.

My husband and I are taking his mother on her first cruise. We have a 2 bedroom haven stateroom. We have free at sea plus- so that is 4 specialty meals each for husband and I. Then, we just made platinum- which, from my understanding, gives the cabin 2 meal certificates for 2. Can we legally/ethically use the certificates for my mother-in-law? I am thinking yes, since they are per cabin, not per individual. I don’t want to cheat the system, but I also don’t want to eat 6 meals out of the Haven either. thanks in advance!

My husband and I were just on the Encore in the Haven last month. LOVED it. there are signs all around the sun deck stating 16 and up. I did not see any kids other than one time when a kid came up to tell his parent something. But the area around the pool is kid friendly and we saw several kids all week at the Haven pool. we did celebrity edge Retreat last year. Liked both- slightly preferred NCL. We found the food comparable but did not like how close the tables were in the celebrity restaurant and found the retreat fairly crowded and boisterous.

Wait! I see pictures of Flow water. Does that mean no more acqua panna???

My stepchild went on the first night on our May European cruise. They said it was ok- not a lot of people and none with their same interests. So, I think it really depends on the mix on the particular cruise. They still went a couple of nights and had fun.

I believe 120 days, unless in the Haven- that’s 130 days.

We just flew into Barcelona on Friday. We had to show our QR codes to enter.

We will be cruising in a 2 bedroom Haven cabin with our adult children. My husband and I would like premium plus, but our kids would not really appreciate it, nor do I care to spend $1000 for all of us. Has anyone had any luck upgrading just 2 out of 4 in a cabin once onboard?
