Carnival: Are there PLENTY of high chairs??

We're sailing in 26 days with our 21 month old DS. I've never paid attention to the amount of high chairs available in the MDR or on Lido. Is it hard to get one? I assume we reserve one in MDR.

It wasn't hard to get one. There was usually one sitting in a corner somewhere on the Lido. If not then we just asked a worker and they would bring us one. As far as MDR, the first cruise we had assigned time and there was always one waiting every night. The second cruise we had your time dining & had to ask for one every night. Took about 5-10 min for them to bring one.

We never had a problem getting one.

Anyone have pics of the high chairs? Wondering if my 4 year old special needs kiddo would still fit.

I take a booster with a tray for him to keep him contained to many restaurants, but would love not to have to travel with it. He can't handle sitting in a regular seat yet--he would be all over the dining room after the first 30 minutes. Meds help, but they wear off by dinner time.

I only have one pic where you can kind of see it. Its those smaller plastic ones like they have in the malls (or at least at our malls). I think my 3 year old might fit in it but it would be very snug :confused:

P.s., thats my 2 year old enjoying his past guest drink :p

We never had an issue getting one, and after the first night the waiter would have it already set up when we arrived. I remember them being standard restaurant type high chairs.

We didn't have to wait for our niece's highchair the first night and the staff made sure it was there every night after that. She was 2 on her first cruise. This is the only picture I can find with her in the chair.

Wow! It looks like it's the highchairs with attached trays. That would be wonderful because it keeps them away from the table and expensive dishes!! I can just see our son grabbing the table cloth and pulling everything off!
