Hotel Maya shuttle with toddler on board?

When taking the hotel shuttle, is it a van or a bus?

The reason I ask is because i have a toddler that needs a car seat if it is in a van.

Has anyone run into this issue?

Why not call the hotel and ask? If they provide car seats, you can prearrange it while you've got them on the phone.

Even though I'd consider a car seat essential, I'm not sure CA law requires car seats for commercial van passengers.

The Maya is only a mile from port. (literally)

At worst one can take the shuttle with the luggage and the other can walk to the ship.

We stayed at hotel maya twice and I believe it was large van almost like a shuttle bus but not quite. It is very close to the port and not a lot of traffic on weekend mornings. Last time we stayed the wait for shuttle was too long so my husband drove me and the kids with luggage to the ship went back and parked at hotel maya and walked back to ship. It was about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Porters are in garage where u get dropped off so u can get help with your bags.

It was a big van. Our family of three took the shuttle to the port and back. Both times just the three of us. Walking could be pleasant too if not tagging along a lot of luggage. We took a walk from the hotel to the park and got half way to the port in 10 minutes.
