Has anyone done the Blue Lagoon island beach tour? Pros/cons

Not quite sure what to do in Nassau..traveling with a 5 & 10yr old.

Has anyone done the Blue Lagoon island beach tour? Pros/cons

Not quite sure what to do in Nassau..traveling with a 5 & 10yr old.

We did the dolphin encounter which is at the same place. You take a water taxi to the island, iirc it was 20-30 mins away. The beach is sheltered with toys and such to play. I wouldn't take a 10 year old there, but that's me, it was mainly people with children 6 and under.

There are other beaches in Nassau, or you can do the walking tour off of Trip Advisor, there are lots of other options.

I just went there last month, I took my 7 and 9 year old kids. They both loved it! The boat ride was nice and the lagoon was beautiful with nice areas to lay out on lounge chairs or hammocks and alot for the kids to do. Check out there website or tripadvisor for pics.
