Kayak diving??

Hi Steve,

No there is no kayak diving or shore diving. The reason for this is you have to go outside the barrier reef to get to the sites. If you do not know where the exits or entrances are you could end up on the reef. If you want to swim 800 to 1000 yards to the dive site that is fine but you will not find anyone to rent equipment from. We want our equipment back and not have to collect it in Belize or Cozumel depending on the current that day.

Hi Nitro,

I ask because I clicked on a link for Maya palms on another thread and the Kayak diving was/is listed as a specialty course. The site also talks about the inshore diving. Is that an error?

Steve
