Miami Hotels

Any have a recommendation for a two night stay in a safe, clean Miami Hotel, (prior to heading onto our Quest (Azamara) cruise?

Hi,

Hotels are very subjective and we have stayed in a number of hotels in Miami,

I would say a lot depends on your budget also the time of year, eg we stayed at the Wyndham and at $140 PN it was excellent value but not at $300 pn.

What sort of budget are you looking at and when do you plan to stay?

Alot of people use Priceline but I like to know where I am staying before I book.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Biscayne Bay for one night

prior to our 12/8 cruise on Quest. It's about 1 mile from the port.

I was able to get a good rate on Expedia.com

They gave us a huge room on the 5th floor, however it was

near the pool and there was a party going on with loud

music which stopped at 10pm. A higher floor would've been

better, but it was fine when the music stopped.

The bed was very comfortable so we slept well.

An advantage to this hotel is that it's connected to an arcade

with numerous shops and restaurants, plus a deli with

a liquor store. We wanted to purchase wine before the

cruise so this worked out as we didn't have to search out

a liquor store or supermarket.

I've seen recommendations for the Holiday Inn.

Also close to the port are the Intercontinental and

Hyatt Regency.
