Epic questions

My brother and his girlfriend are booked for Epic on the 29th Sept sailing out of Barcelona, they are first time cruisers and booked through a TA.

They have already got their edocs and login for the ncl website and purchased some casino chips but don't seem to have a confirmation email of these or find it listed anywhere under their reservation? Will they be ready in cabin on embarkation, does anyone know how that works?

Is it best go pre book the blue man group and legends shows?

They wish to purchase the unlimited soda but doesn't seem to be a way to do so online? Can they ring ncl UK to purchase or will they need to wait until they are on board? And is there a price difference between pre purchase and onboard?

Finally for now anyway lol his girlfriend is a big tea drinker is there facilities in an inside cabin ? Where is tea served onboard?

No idea on the prepaid chips. I would call NCL or your TA (depending on who you bought them through) to make sure you understand how they work, when you get them, etc.

If there is a specific night you want to see Blue Man or Legends it's best to go ahead and book it. They're free, so there's nothing to pre-pay. You can also book when you get on the ship, or even show up at the performance and wait in line for open seats from "no shows"

Call NCL to purchase the soda package. I think you get it through their gift catalog thing on line (never did it, so not positive), but for sure calling NCL or your TA will take care of that. You MAY be able to save a little money on board since they won't charge sales tax or VAT when at sea.

You can get tea lots of places. The most convenient may be the Atrium Cafe. It's open early and for long hours. You won't have ability to make tea in your inside room. Room service will bring you tea as well.

As they are sailing from Barcelona, there will be a price difference if they purchase the soda packages after boarding because of the 10% VAT so it's best to prebook, should be possible even through NCL UK with a simple phone call.

For the casino chips they need to ask their TA to send them amenity confirmation, that includes all extra purchases and amenities not shown on the normal reservation confirmation.

Thanks. They purchased the chips via the ncl website so will get them to ask for chip confirmation when they book the soda package. :cool:
