Car rentals in Miami

We will be renting a car in Orlando and driving to Miami for 4/6/13 embarkation. What is the best rental company who will transport us to the ship? First time posting. I have lots of questions. :confused:

National, Alamo & Thrifty share a free shuttle from the MIA airport to POM; Hertz downtown also offers free POM shuttles. Avis is also downtown but does not offer shuttles - a taxi will only run about $10-12.

I would avoid National, Alamo, Thrifty. Their shuttle service is very poor in Miami. We had okay service from Hertz but their prices tend to sometimes be a bit more.
