Dining room menus

Even if someone posted it, they change so fast these days they'd be old in no time.

 

From our June Oosterdam cruise to November on Westerdam, the menus were very different. Week one of our Collectors, the menus were different than our week two.

 

If you have not cruised recently, you many not know that entrees are so reduced they now have things such as cobb salad as a dinner entree. I happen to like cobb salad but don't consider that fine dining or expect it on a cruise ship dinner menu. To me, that's a nice lunch with the ladies. :rolleyes: Each night they have a dinner salad. I'm the queen of salads but really....... Cobb salad for dinner on a cruise ship?

And turkey, chicken fritters and lasagna... Carnival's "comfort foods" are rolling into the HAL fleet... If they are doing that, at least they could give us a Carnival dessert of two!

Thank you, guess I should have specified Main Dining Room as this list is informational it doesn't give these except for breakfast. Thanks anyway!:D

 

 

The menus are changing so often that what is served today probably will not be tomorrow.

 

Posting menus these days is not terribly useful IMO

Here are our menus from the Noordam 11-Night Southern Caribbean this season. Many thanks to whoever posted these last November...I saved the menus on my computer, but I don't know who to credit for their work! I was able to do a lot of cutting and pasting instead of typing everything!:D

We did not see many of those dishes on our recent Collector's Cruise on Westerdam.

Many are changed.

I posted those Noordam 11 day menus last year.

 

There will be some changes in them. HAL does that every season and every year.

 

Sorry for the confusion...the menus I posted are the current ones from our Noordam cruise Nov. 26-Dec. 7 this year. Krazy Kruizers, I was able to use the ones you posted a year ago and just make the changes where needed.

HAL seems to be serving different menus on 10-11 day cruises than on 7 day cruises.

 

Interesting seeing that over 400 of us on Westerdam had booked 14 days yet had a different choice of offerings. Both weeks of our Collectors, there were hundreds of others doing two weeks..... not just a handful but our menus were considerably different.

 

We were booked to sail Noordam in March but we just cancelled. Circumstances made us unable to go.

I don't think looking at this 30 minutes before dinner was a good idea. My frozen taquitos don't seem quite as appealing now.

 

while I am an exceptional chef - at home, my dishes do not match the 'photogenic' meals every one posts. -- However, depending on the cruise line my food is probably better -- excepting HAL -- they always deliver better sides than I can ever manage to come up with.

 

I also don't give choices for appetizers, salads, or soups -- hee hee
