We're flying into Rome three days early to see the city. What is the best way to get from the City Center to the ship? How much will the various options cost? How long will it take? All advice will be appreciated.

There aren't a lot of options, and they have all been discussed thoroughly in various threads, a quick use of the search function will bring up the particulars.

From central Rome, your options are train (from any one of four stations in Rome), limo service or taxi. The train option costs between Euro 4,50 to Euro 17,50. Check the many threads on limo services for cost estimates on that option.

If you're capable of walking 4 blocks, train is the cheapest by a long margin. A taxi for the 50 mile trip will be in the €80 range, two train tickets about €8/ea. Off the train, follow the coast walking north a few blocks to the old ramparts/entrance to the port complex. From there a shuttle bus will take you to cruise checkin/your boat.

That sounds graeat. Thanks. What about from the ship directly to the airport?
