Barcelona - Monestir de Poblet

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has ever had a day trip (if it is possible) from Barcelona to the Poblet Abbey? I know a lot of people go to Montserrat but I thought this monestary looked fascinating from a historic perspective. Is there a bus that does a day tour or is the only option to rent a car (which I'm too nervous to do?) Is it even open at the end of October?

Thanks for any information,

David

There is a company that we have used a few times in Barcelona

who do transfers and tours.. you might check them out for info on seeing the abbey.
