miracle laundry room

We had cabin #5268 on the Miracle, an AFT balcony and there was a laundry room right across from our cabin. I think it was $3.00 for each. I did notice that the day I washed laundry when we were in port our clothes had nasty yellow/brown stains on everything, this didn't happen later in the cruise when I washed while we were at sea

This might help...

Sailed Carnival in Sept, Yes 3.00 wash. 3.00 dry.

Pack quarters and single packs of detergent. They have detergent 75 cents if I recall correctly. No bill changer for coins.

I used to take detergent and dryer sheets, but now we are Plaitnum :D

You can get quarters at the Pursers desk. Happy New Year and have a

wonderful cruise! :)

I always bring detergent and fabric softener with me in little squeeze bottles. Now I will bring Purex 3 in one sheets. It detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheet all in one.

the later in the cruise, the longer the lines. Also the washers are a bit smaller than the one you may have at home.

I would bring quarters from home. I have read about some folks having trouble getting them during the cruise.

While anything is possible, I have never heard of a casino on land or at sea running out of rolls of quarters. ;)

The casino is not always open when folks want to do laundry and they are using a cashless system now in the casino for the slots.

If you want to carry quarters with you from home enjoy. It seems to me that anyone able to plan far enough ahead to bring quarters from home can just as easily plan to get a roll from the casino when it's open but what do I know?

You know the game where you drop quarters in one of three slots, they fall onto an upper tray with a sweeper which forces quarters off onto a lower tray with another sweeper which may force some quarters off for you to recover? I'm not sure how they can make that game a cashless system. :D

I just carry one roll of quarters in my luggage, it really isn't that big of a deal. I personally don't want to trek all over the ship in search of quarters, for those of you who don't want to carry coins on the ship there is a bill changer right next to the quarters game if you don't want to deal with the pursers desk or in the event the casino is closed :)
