Shopping in Bermuda

Perfume is a good buy as I've always found it cheaper than the states. You can always check the prices before you come to confirm you are getting a good deal. Also, there is no sales tax here. Myy cousin from Texas was here in July and she made some great clothing purchases on sale items. You may find china items at a good price. We carry British items as well.

Items from the British Isles...UK, Scotland, Ireland. Woolens, sweaters, linens, china, crystal/waterford, collectables. Not sure how good the jewelry prices are, but do check out the unique items available only in Bermuda...longtail (my favorite), moongate, (pendants, earrings,etc.). Craft Market out at the Dockyard has items made in Bermuda, cedar items, pottery, rum cakes, etc.. What else can you suggest Bermuda Longtail?

Have fun!!

Our kids are older so we ended up getting them souvenirs from the Gosling Black Sea Bermuda Rum Factory Store in Hamilton--when you leave the cruise ship turn right and head up Front Street. The store sells different varieties of Goslings rum--original black seal, gold, etc.. They also sell bottles of the original Rum Swizzler drink.
We bought our kids t shirts, playing cards, and key chains here. Also, a store called Onio Jacks sells rum cakes--don't know how good they are though.
The Carole Holding Store has some beautiful framed pastel paintings of Bermuda-- they also have more unusual souvenirs--sea glass jewlery, banana leaf dolls,.This store is also to the right when you get off the cruise ship.

Yes there are many local products to be found in Dockyard, the Clocktower mall has artwork by local artist "Mike Swan" also the "Littlest Drawbridge" has Cedar products and many other stores. There is a pottery "Clay works" and glassblowing "Dockyard Glassworks" the "Rum Cake factory" is also in dockyard not in Hamilton. Then there is the "Bermuda Craft market" which is full of locally made items ranging from jewellry to books. An art studio "The Bermuda Art Centre" has paintings and prints.
I hope this helps,
Enjoy, relax and be happy.:)
