Haifa DIY

Recommended Posts

There are several cool things to do in the area. In Haifa itself, the Bahai Center and gardens are beautiful and worth a walk through. If you are comfortable driving, drive up into the Carmel mountains and into Carmel National Park. There is a Carmelite church at the top where the view looks down into the Valley of Armageddon. Drive through the Druze villages up in the mountains. Drive down to Cesarea and visit the ruins at the ancient Roman seaport.

Plus loads of stuff on the way, he charged us $500 for all six or us, he made the holiday, what a to bloke, and nice counrty.

Next day we did Jerusalem and its associated bits and bobs.

His name is Mordi

mordi zissman [morzissman@yahoo.com]

He has a very high standard of education speaks perfect english, german and Hebrew, he knows the area, bible and religion very well, but most of all he is fun to be with, he plannded the tour well with plenty of stops for the OAPs with us.

I would love to go back

The cruse line wanted over $2000 for a local guide for 6 perday, so his $500 per day for everyone is a bargain, oh we spent 11 hourts out one day and 12 the next so excellent value too
