Live from Amalegro- paris/Normandy

Quick overview of the cruise so far. Full report when we get back, promise

Ship oils not make it to Paris last Friday when we were scheduled to arrive. TA notified us so we were aware a day or so ahead of time whie we were in Paris. AMA also posted a notice on there website. Good idea to check if you are doing pre cruise on your your own like we did.

Weather started out cool and rainy but was nice the last two days. Sunny and 60's. today very cool and rainy again but the sun looks like it may pop out again as we cruise the Seine from Rouen to Les Adlelys.

Ship and crew are first rate! Service and food are very good. So much nice wine with meals. Food is very good but not necessarily French.

Enjoying the tours. Money's gardens, Honfluer was probably my favorite and we took a tour through the countryside in the Pays D'Auge region. Famous for cheeses, Calvados, etc.

Rouen is a wonderful city with Midevil and Norman architecture. Spent a very wet morning there today.

The scenery is very green and lush, flowering trees and spotted cows.

Ship oils not arriving. Does that mean you were delayed in Paris? Were you onboard and just not going anywhere?

Sorry, should have been more clear. We met at the Ockington in Paris as scheduled. AMA had busses to take us to Conflans where the ship was docked. We picked up our itinerary from there. Nothing lost. We did hear it looks like the ship will make it back to Paris on Friday as scheduled.

We had the same experience on the May 10 departure. We didn't know in advance (too busy enjoying Paris to check!). We took a taxi to the embarkation spot and there were AMA personnel and a bus waiting for us. It was no big deal as we went via bus to Conflans, about a 40-minute ride, and there boarded. We missed nothing. We were able to return to Paris at the end of the cruise. I say don't worry about it :)
