2013 cruise schedule

I am trying to get information on the 2013 cruise schedule, specifically for November. I want to plan a cruise for the extended family for November, 2013and would like to give everyone the information as soon as possible. I know I haven't been on my first cruise yet, that is coming up next month for DH and I. I'm convinced we are going to love it so would like to plan another one for the whole family and a few friends. I know there are a few cruises listed on the carnival website for November, 2013 but I'm not interested in those. I am looking for a 7 day cruise that departs from Florida or New orleans, but preferably Florida. If anyone has information on when these will be published it would be greatly appreciated.

No one ever knows for sure. Last year they put the itineraries out from March through August. Adding a couple ships here and there. But if you find that you really want to book another one, on your cruise coming up you can purchase Future Cruise Certificates for $100 that will go towards your final payment on a cruise and then get up to $100 free as OBC on that future cruise. Worth looking into at the FCC desk on board.

Thank you. Can you give me more details on how this works. Do I need to pick the ship and exact date when I purchase the $100 certificate? What can the $100 OBC be used for?

You buy it when you know you want to cruise, but don't know when. I believe that it has to be used within 2 yrs now ( it used to be 4). You buy the certificate for $100 and when you book your next cruise you submit the online form with the required information, mail it in, or call Carnival directly, and they will take $100 off of your final payment and give you $100 OBC.

As far as I know, the OBC can't be used in the casino, but I don't know how'd they tell where that certain credit was going.

I believe it is non-refundable OBC though so if you don't use it you lose it, but I could be wrong there

This sounds like a great deal. Thank you everyone. If they post the November itineraries befor I go on my cruise in April I will buy the certificate. If they don't have them posted by then I will have to put it off because we may cruise on a different line.

When you are onboard , and you feel you will cruise again fairly soon , you may as well get the FCC. It is $100 , and it gives you free OBC. If you do an onboard booking, the OBC is applied immediately, and you get 2 vouchers for friends who will receive OBC if they book within 60 days.....

John Heald said on facebook it would be the end of this week that all 2013 itineraries would be posted--he said the beards told him!

I sure hope so! I keep checking every day for an expanded September, 2013 schedule and so far...nada!

Do the friends that get the free voucher get $100?

They will get on board credit for the cruise they book...$50 for 3-5 day cruises, $100 for 7 day and $200 for long cruises. They would have to book the same cruise that you booked on board (when you got the voucher)...I think.

If they post your itineraries before you cruise in April, you might talk it over with your relatives and then book your cabin on the ship. If you do that, you'll not only receive the $100 OBC, but you'll get certificates which will allow two other families to book your same cruise and they also will receive the credit. Kind of a good deal.

lol - guess I should have read the whole thread before posting - but we have actually done this and it works great -

Haha, I am so glad I'm not the only one stalking the site every day! I'm getting married near Charleston in Oct of 2013 and our honeymoon is going to be a cruise out of there with a bunch of our wedding guests. I don't feel like I can plan anything until the schedule is out!

When they first started posting them, I called and they said the rest would be out within a week (uh uh, not even close). More recently they said on facebook that they would all be out by the end of March. We're cruising April 1st, so booking it on board for the extra vouchers (since we'll have plenty of friends with us) would be ideal!
