Ever wonder how they tender?

I guess ever ship has a different system. Some use lifeboats, and others use the port authorities boats.

I was just watching the Celebrity Century port-cam, and caught a glimpse of what the Century uses:

:confused: They look like lifeboats taking part in a lifeboat drill of some sort.

Yup-

They use the actual LIFEBOATS to bring people to the caymans and back. (Thats George Town in the distance).

I've always wondered exactly how they did it. Its good to see that they use more then one boat, so, hopefully, getting to the Caymans doesnt take as long as I've heard.

On the Grand last March, the ship used their own 150 passenger tenders. There was a continuous flow of them to the dock and back. There were 4 in service at the same time.
