Does anyone know if Spirit and Dawn still have this table? Passsengers were doing so well on it that hubby was afraid they would remove this game. The one where you don't play against your fellow cruiser, just the dealer. He had a blast on it last year and made some good buddies.

I love this table as well, played way too many hours on the DAWN in Feb. We did seem to have the same people joining us at the table every day/night.

One of pit bosses told me the table has the best odds for the players over any table/machine in the casino.

The game is played with a single ordinary 52-card deck.

The player must make an equal bet on both the Ante and Blind, and can also make an optional Trips bet.

Two cards are dealt face down to the player and dealer. The player may look at his own cards.

The player can check or make a Play bet equal to four times the Ante.

The dealer turns over three community cards.

If the player previously checked he may make a Play bet equal to two times his Ante. If the player already made a Play bet he may not bet further.

Two final community cards are turned over.

If the player previously checked twice he must either make a Play bet equal to exactly his Ante, or fold, losing both his Ante and Blind bets. If the player already raised he may not bet further.

The player and dealer will both make the best possible hand using any combination of their own two cards and the five community cards.

The dealer will need at least a pair to qualify.

If the player and dealer tie then the Ante, Blind, and Play bets will all push.

If the dealer qualifies and the player has the higher hand then the Ante will pay even money. If the dealer qualifies and the dealer has the higher hand then the Ante will lose. If the dealer does not qualify then the ante will push. (Note: The qualifying point only matters for purposes of the Ante bet.)

If the player has the higher hand the Play bet will pay even money. If the dealer has the higher hand the Play bet will lose.

If the player has the higher hand the Blind bet will pay according to the Blind Bet pay table below. If the dealer has the higher hand the Blind bet will lose.

The Trips bet will pay according to the poker value of the player's hand regardless of the value of the dealer's hand, according to one of the Trip bet pay tables below.

Those rules look pretty close, the only difference I can remember is the first bet is either 3 or 4 times your ante.......depending upon how good your hand looks you choose.

There really isn't a lot of strategy/skill involved in the game.....just knowing when to bet. I've always done reallly well with the optional trips bet, and the payouts are nice.

You have to be the wife of Perry, who won the no-limit tourney on the Spirit last October. We were in the casino every night - Bob and Andrea - we both played Ultimate and at the limit table every night. We're on the October repo of the Dawn - when do you guys sail again? (don't know if they still have the Ultimate tables but I hope so!).
