Yes you can. soft drinks and water only.

We had no problem bringing Coke onboard the Pearl last month. Had to bring Coke, because they only have Pepsi products. Soda card was $54.

How much did you bring on? Can you only bring plastic on board?

Yes you can. soft drinks and water only.

How have people "carried" it on board? Do they allow coolers or do you put it in your luggage?

we just bring a couple of 6pks, since we can get more at the ports. no need to carry too much. some people have slapped luggage tags on a case. they used to allow large cooler, but some have said the large ones are not being allowed anymore? all carry-ons have to be able to go through the xray machine, it's one of those smaller ones like at the airports.

cans or plastic doesn't matter.

you MAY be asked to go to the naughty room to claim your luggage, if the water/sodas are in it. they check to make sure it's not liquor.

i have quit taking water, the water on the ship, was very good. we just refilled our bottles. (hint: they don't allow you to put your drinking bottle under the spout in the buffet/blue lagoon, use a clean glass and pout the water into your drink bottle)

allow:

put in check luggage

put in carry-on(just knowthat you may have to carry it until your cabin is ready)

put luggage tag on boxed case.

We broke up a plastic 12 pack and placed it in our two suitcases.

As long as you use a smaller cooler, you can carry it on- ALSO you cannot bring an open drink container through security (or you couldnt in LA)

We had three six pack cans and many water bottles in a cooler- the cooler became pointless since the mini fridge kept more than a days worth cold at once.

We purchased more soda at port and restocked mid-cruise

has anyone on NCL ever brought a suitcase full of just soda and bottled water? I've read on forums that people have included that in their suitcase with their other luggage, but what about just a suitcase full of 2 liters or cans, empty solo cups, and mixers? Will i get taken to the naught room?
