Cabo and PV Resorts with Pool Slides

We are thinking about going on the Carnival Splendor in May. We have three little ones, 5 years, 3 years, and a 1 year old. The boys love to go in the pools. The oldest one loves pool slides. I am looking for a resort in each place that we can go to that has a nice pool slide and/or maybe a kiddie splash area. A lazy river would be great but doubt that is an option. Thanks.

I've been doing some research and I found that Paradise Village in Puerto Vallarta has a pool slide. I read somewhere that Carnival has an excursion to the village, haven't had a chance to check it out yet though. Keep us posted!

The only resort excursion I saw on Splendor trips was in Cabo, not PV. I also think that Paradise Village is one of the few places in PV that has slides for their pool.

I'd check out the Paradise Village website and see if they offer day passes and email them if the website doesn't mention it.

The official Carnival resort excursion goes to Casa Dorada in Cabo.

Where is this and how do you get to there? We are going to PV and Cabo in June. First time to Riviera.

If you look at the Map below pin points A & B are Paradise Village and about pin point G is where the cruise port is. It is maybe a 15 minute cab ride, but negotiate the rate with the cab before you go, if you go.

The map is "live" so you can move it, zoom in, zoom out, etc. You can see there are a lot of hotels and resorts closer, they just don't necessarily have slides at their pools, but they are pretty much walkable if you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk ( http://g.co/maps/3jkqn ) and there are some really nice resorts there.

Thanks for the map. I loved the live feed. I actually saw 2 ship docked. How do you find out how much a day pass would be for your family to go and just hang out at the local resorts and use their pool, beach etc?

This link is somewhat dated, but it should be a good guide.

$350 pesos is between $30-35 US dollars. Find the one you like then email the hotel. Day passes would be free a couple of the spots if you had a spa treatment like at the Westin.
