Skywalkers CP

In all the recent reviews of the CP, I have not read mention of anyone doing the boogie thing in Skywalkers. Karen and I are dancers and are looking forward to the cardio effect of a few hours nightly of Skywalkers tailfeather shaking.

Any CP Skywalkers reviews out there?

All the best!

We went to Skywalkers and then walked out again. Not sure what music you like. Looks like it's intended for young adults (min age shown as 18). Music very loud. The club is very attractive. But, it's at the highest point in the boat. The evening we went, the seas were rough and any movement in the ship is accentuated.

We did however go dancing several times at other venues including the club fusion, the explorer's lounge and the jazz club (can't recall the name). Lots of dancing available and we lost count of the number of different bands.

We went to the 50's party and the 70's party. Both were a lot of fun - and lots of dancing. They also had dance classes both line dancing and ballroom.

Have fun.

If it's loud and looks to be geared toward a younger crowd (which we are not) it will be perfect for us. That is our style.

Being that we are jazz fans too, the sound of a jazz club also entices us. Jazz and martinis. MMM!

Thanks!

Jturner- If it's anything at all like the Skywalkers we experienced on the Golden last month the above descriptions are right on the mark.

They had themes from like 10pm till midnight; 60's, 70's, 80's, etc. At midnight though it went to Hip-hop, Top40 aimed at a younger crowd and was well attended.

Not a dancer (believe me) it was fun to sit and people watch or chat with other passengers. Ok maybe it was more like yelling at other passengers but it was fun nonetheless and at that time of night that's one of the main choices of places to go

Happy Cruising

I went to Skylwalkers every night. I'm 18 and I had a blast. The last night was the best because there were so many people there dancing. You should definately go check it out.

if youre looking for a fun time with a younger crowd, go after midnight, my group quickly discovered it was 'lame' to go earlier than that.

but like the other guys said, after 12 be ready for some loud rap, with teens dancing (and by dancing i mean dry humping eachother to the beat).
