Does Carnival Discount Back to Back Cruises

Hi - Would love to do a back to back (someday) and was wondering if Carnival discounts the prices if you do one? Or do you just pay the rate for each week?

Thanks so much!

No additional discounts. Pretty much you pay the rate for week 1 + the rate for week 2

Not from what the PVPs were telling me. I asked about it for my Honeymoon, and having never cruised before, they wouldn't even give us a past guest deal for the second cruise (at which time we would be 2nd timers). They said the best we could do was to ask at the Purser's Desk during the first cruise to apply our past cruise number to the second and see what (if any) benefits would arise.

They also said we MIGHT be able to get the same cabin for both cruises.

As it turns out, we decided to change from back-to-back on Glory to doing the second cruise on the Victory and having a nice drive down the coast in between. (The itinerary of the Victory Western was more to our liking.)

No, there is no discount.......both of the rates are calculated separately and you have 2 different booking numbers as if they aren't associated at all.........The savings for me is only 1 round trip plane ticket and only 1 round trip transportation to/from the pier......Still I think it's going to be a great time.......Still haven't decided if we're going to get off the ship during the change up or just lounge around and act like we're on our own private yacht!!!!!!!!

Hi Janey,

We are doing the b-2-b on the Glory on 09/06/08 & 09/13/08, same cabin for both. Our PVP told us that we would be escorted off the ship and do our paperwork and reboard the ship. I have also read this from others who have had the pleasure of going on b-2-b cruises!

It is your private yacht; you just have a few more friends aboard!

You might have a chance for a decent upgrade. We got the same room on a Valor back to back going from a 4B inside to a 5A outside (window). We loved our two weeks :)

(same room both weeks)

Wow, what a great idea. Glad I though of it.:D

Maybe someday.

Maybe we just got lucky but we have recently booked a B2B Western Med followed by a transatlantic crossing and we got discounts. The first part has a nice savings and with the second part the saving is huge. These prices are less than the early booking Super Saver in the brochure and less than the guarantee cabin rates for internet bookings. We have the same stateroom for both parts. The savings have more than covered the cost of our airfare to Rome and back from Fort Lauderdale. You might want to contact your TA and ask, it couldn't hurt and it sure did work for us.
