I did this trip last year on the Equinox. While I enjoyed the ports and the ship, I was DONE when we got to Ft. Lauderdale. I like the ship, I enjoy sea days but this was really too many for me. ...

Thumbs down Not so much

We took a WB TA from Barcelona on Equinox. I enjoyed the Spanish and Portugal ports, but really did not care much for the sea days. I found I was waiting for meal times, not something I should be...

Wishing for more

I usually manage 3 a year: 2 with my significant other and one with my daughter. We all live in Florida so most cruises don't require a flight. That said, I do try for one a year that needs an...

Obviously my daughter is not my spouse, but on both RCCL and on Celebrity, she has been welcome to Elite/Diamond events, even on Allure OTS. when we share a cabin. I suppose it could depend on the ...

Don't understand this

Here's why I don't understand why people say they save so much money by taking an inside or OV cabin. This is from my travel agent and I grant it is a little hard to follow as it did not copy the...

a vote for ship excursions

Some of these islands, like Jamaica, are beautiful, but I agree I don't usually feel safe as well as feeling harassed. But it is a good reason to take ship's tours to get to the nice and interesting...

I found a travel clothes line, complete with clothes pins at CVS (drug store that is more a mini store) for about $3. The ends have hooks so you can hook around anything or hook to itself. I love...

Sunset veranda

My choice would be the sunset cabins. The balconies 'feel' bigger and I like to watch the wake as we travel. The only downside would be the fairly long walk to elevators compared to location of...

Good timing

You are smart to go in October. First, the weather will not be so hot and therefore less tiring. Second, the crowds will be somewhat lighter so getting around is less stressful.
