After our first cruise we were transported to some shopping mall with a drive through some residential areas (which was boring) and then transported to the airport where we had to wait several hours...

We stay in The Pillars Hotel. Close to the beach, short taxi ride to the port, restaurants and shopping close by. They also have a stop at the hotel for the water taxi.

We have a cruise booked in April 2015 with HAL as they allow smoking on balconies. However in 2016 we booked with Seabourn. Even if they disallow smoking on balconies there are more than adequate...

Wouldn't the crew be delighted to get their tips in Euros instead of Dollars?

The Dollar is weak at the moment so a trip to the bank to change Euros into Dollars should be the least of a problem....

If you save $13.000!! on airfares then I would book Seabourn without a doubt. It is a luxury cruise line after all. Also on Seabourn all drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are included!

thank god hal still allows smoking on balconies....even though we are now on e-ciggies for the majority of the time, we still enjoy a "real" ciggy" from time to time
