We haven't cruised during Thanksgiving but have gone on a few Christmas cruises. While it is a nice experience, it is more expensive and hectic at the airports.

We have seen Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Tulum, Lamanai, and Kohunlich. All were well worth the time and effort but I think Tulum was the most amazing.
