I want to be on a ship large enough so I don't feel too much motion (the smaller the ship, the more you feel), but not so large that I don't still feel like I'm cruising.. I think the Voyager Class...

None of the cabins are as close to the elevator...

None of the cabins are as close to the elevator FOYER as they appear...noise from that will not be an issue!

Its possible you may hear chairs scraping at times, but it's not an ongoing thing!

7 Mile Beach is fine for everyone....very calm, chair/umbrella rentals, restrooms up and down the beach. Hop on the bus..$2.50 pp. Not great snorkeling around the beach areas.

Ice water is available everywhere....all eating venues, bars, and in your cabin! As far as bacon, I only eat what I cook...they never get it crispy enough for me! So, sausage, it is!

You can feel seas over 10 ft....on almost any ship! You can't tell by "season" what the seas will be...it's dependent on winds, and frontal systems....rough or calm...no one knows, or has control...

What is PDX? If it's in America, you're good with the BC's for the kids...and BC/DL will work for you, as well! The passports will be fine. None of the Caribbean countries require them for cruise...
